OP, coupons are NOT stackable. I JUST got back from BB and got this XBOX for $139.99 with the Pizza coupon and I had two of those SPC coupons...they didn't takem. They tried entering them in but their computers wont let them use multiple coupons. Just though everyone should know :-)

Yup tried that. I did an ISPU...went into BB and showed them my two SPC coupons...they didn't take it. They said that I can only use one coupon and that it is NOT stackable. Have you tried it? If so, could you please send me a copy of the receipt?

same situation happened to me when i was buying the slim PS3, the cashier though was forcing me to get the extended warranty, his claim was "since Sony made the PS3 smaller, it can overheat and mess up the blu-ray drive that costs $300 to fix, we take care of that and also you get unlimited controllers when one breaks"...i just smiled and said "NO" and he gave me this look crazy look.

I think they just hire these people by drawing a name out of a hat. Sale associates should do their research before saying these "facts" claiming to be true. So basically an 18 year old minimum wage Best Buy employee knows more than the Sony engineers who designed and tested the slim console before hitting production, wow!

I'm sure the manager wouldn't want his name mentioned in a nasty letter to HQ. He would have probably tried to butter you up with some sort of freebie or discount... or not. :D

Lego game and Kung Fu Panda are only worth $10 US combined. :P I saw them in a package deal on Circuit City online. No big deal if you can't get them included at another Futureshop, but they might throw it in if you ask them to match the deal? I don't see why they wouldnt do that or at least throw in some other low priced game.

I had a worse experience with a Bestbuy employe.. a floor manager btw.

I returned a 360 with the drive not working for refund, he tried to convince me to replace it instead and take the extended warranty. So I said no I want a full refund... but when I tried to return an opened game that came with the bundle, he refused saying that I might have tried to copy the game and Im trying to cheat him and that he won't be paying for that. So basically, he called me a thief. I raised my voice so people around me can experience the great BB customer service I was getting and he threatened me that if I don't lower my voice he will be calling the security... so I said go ahead and do it... he didn't... he just stood there and did nothing. I finished by telling me just give me the money for the console and I will send a complain to HQ for how you refused the take back the game that came as a bundle.

So I sent a complain to HQ and... nothing! It was a year ago!

it works.. i used the pizza pizza 10 off 100 and SPC 10 off 50 coupons together in store like 2 weeks ago...but its YMMV if the csr lets u do it...

Only the 20GB is a real drive and the 60GB and 120GB are cheap hack drives that don't support multiple partitions (no XBOX games or Live! downloads) and as stated on here by a few DX buyers, data corruption is common.

That's *why* it's only $60 for a 120GB - I also have one, and while it seems to work for savegames and demos, I cannot play XBOX discs or downloaded content.

instore only accepts the 8-digit coupon codes (doesn't have to be a scan of coupon barcode, they can enter the 8-digit SKU)

if you're ref'ing to the alphanumeric coupon codes, like the pizzapizza coupon codes in the RFD coupons section (http://coupons.redflagdeals.com/i.php/all/BestBuy.ca_253), "pizzapizzaXXXXXXXXX" won't work i believe, as they're meant for online use only

I don't believe there are any drives on the market that can't be flashed. The new version of the Lite-Ons have been decrypted, so even those are ok. For the liteon's you will need to do a bit of soldering + buy some basic electronics hardware (under $20 worth) to do the job, or buy one of those expensive CK3 tools.

However, all new xboxes will have the bootloader update, so you won't be able to modify the firmware on the box. That means no linux.
