The Brita Pitcher is a great product, got it for 3 months now and the water does taste better and looks cleaner. Sells for 19.99$ at CT i think.

anyway, did anyone else have problems with the program on vista? I can go through the TV setup process (I can even see the preview just fine), but as soon as I hit Finish, the program crashes.

I've also noticed some BSODs recently. don't know if it's related to the ads progs (since I've done other stuff and media tv isn't even on when it crashes, other than in the tray).

I used the latest drivers from the site here:

The Brita pitcher looks good!

I bought the PC one for $10 and it sucks.
The part that holds the cartridge has no holes on the bottom and the water pours out a small hole in the top of the cartridge holder.
Very lousy design.

Brita filters fit ok though. Was thinking of returning it as I've seen Brita pitcher for $12 somewhere lately.
Also, did not use pc filter so should have no prob returning it...

Because i would assume for most people in this country, they are OOS.

I don't even know why I click on threads that say the word Staples in the title. I would wager that the only people who ever get their online deals and see stock showing are in some remote hamlet somewhere. I dunno. All I know is that whenever a good deal comes up at Staples, its OOS and has been for a while ... and when by an act of devine intervention there is stock and you order something, you'll be sure you'll be getting a call telling you you are SOOL.

Just picked up the ADS minitv USb at the Queensway location in Toronto. To my surprise at the till the lady gave another 50% off, so I paid $4.99 for it. Yay!!!

One a side note, mine was brand new and sealed but the connector inside is NOT the one ADS shows on their website. Mine looks like this:
