Anyone have experience with these? Seems to get good reviews on Dell's site.
Have they been cheaper before? Seems like a decent deal for a BT Travel Mouse - good to throw i a backpack with my MacBook Air.
(And yes, despite it being a dell.com link - it's actually the canadian store)

I have one, I like it a lot actually. Good size, and has the back/forward button a lot of travel mouses I've tried seem to lack. I think I got mine for $14.99 but $20 isn't horrible either specially with free shipping. I'd say it's a warm deal I think they are normally like $30 or something like that.

Work great and this mouse is hard to break.
The battery in these last for like 6 month (with what a consider medium use)

does this come with a USB dongle or do you need a bluetooth enabled notebook? And if it comes with a dongle, is it the small one or the long one?

I don't think it comes with one. Get a dongle here...

Great mouse, doesn't come with a dongle. Bought it for the same price for a while back for my z Vaio.

Yeah, I thought I remembered that these were $15 at one time. Hmmm. I want one, but I'd rather have it for $15 ;)

I have this. The battery lasts forever, but the construction quality and the ability to connect to both my laptops make it less than desirable.
I'd pay more and go with Logitech if I were thinking about buying this.

Never used a bluetooth mouse but why do you need a dongle if you have a bluetooth capable laptop? I thought a dongle was for optical mouses?

You only need the dongle for non Bluetooth enabled laptops, some devices (usually keyboards) comes with a BT dongle too, but this is just the BT mouse.

I have one. I really like the fact that the mouse has a lot of buttons - the wheel can be tilted left and right, in addition to the forward and back buttons. Range is good compared with normal RF wireless mice. But it does have some lag if it is placed too far away.

How well/accurate/smooth does this mouse track?
I'm assuming it's optical and not laser right?

I'm pretty sure this the normal price for this mouse. I remember it being $15 as a deal. It was labeled as for the inspiron mini but still bluetooth so any computer could use it.
Good mouse, only disadvantage is that is optical versus laser but still a good option for only 20 bucks.

Laser or optical?
Does anyone have the dimensions for this mouse? I'll be using it everyday for Solidworks, but want to make sure its not a little rinky-dink thing since its called a "Travel" mouse...

I have been using it for last 6 months on both PC and MAC. Great mice.
It is similar size as most of the "full size" mouse, not travel mouse. It is a re-branded LT mouse. It is same size as my other LT mouse. Same as most LT mouse, it works with one or two AA battery.

i use this mouse at work. i'm not sure if it's the USB bluetooth connection or the mouse itself, but it doesn't scroll correctly for me. it seems to be aligned incorrectly or something. also the mouse will look greasy all the time because of the matte finish.

Hmm, anybody recall where can we get this for $15 (was it a Dell sale?) That would be nice...although $22 shipped doesn't seem so bad, when they're charging $19.99 for a wired mouse :P

Also, can't you only sync a BT device to one piece of hardware anyway? I had a Logitech mediaboard Pro (BT) and I couldn't sync it to my PS3 and PC at the same time.
Tempting, but I really don't need one.

I've tried to use this mouse at work but it's a little odd in shape.
It's very narrow and long, so your hand ends up all scrunched sideways... while your fingers are stretched to the max to reach the buttons in front.
I already have relatively large hands, so ergonomically I think they Dell'd this one.

It wasn't really a sale. They marked different mice as being "for" certain computers but they were actually all the same mouse (this one). It was $15 for the dell mini's and $20 for every other type of laptop. After about a week or so of it being announced on rfd the price of the mouse changed to $20 for all computers.
This is not a full sized mouse. It is definitely smaller than a normal mouse but I have no problem using it full time with my laptop. It's won't support your hand at all compared to a full sized mouse however, but it's not something I notice,

There have been conflicting reports on the size of this mouse. Some say it's small and others say it's long and narrow. I'd like to buy this Dell bluetooth mouse if it's small, e.g. about 10cm long.
The specs on dell.ca does not include the dimensions. I'd really appreciate it if someone here can confirm the dimensions of this mouse. Thanks.

I have both the travel version and full-size version of this Dell BT mouse. Love them both. The "feel" of the left- and right-click buttons took a little getting used to, but I really like the mouse.
Travel sized version is about 10cm long and 5cm wide. Feels fine in my averaged-sized hand. Too lazy to go downstairs to measure the full-sized version (attached to my HTPC).

Thanks for the dimensions. I assume this mouse is the "travel" version since the descripton says "Bluetooth Travel Mouse 5-Button". I just hope it's really the small version.
Dell keyboards and mice are very good and I definitely recommend them. I previously bought a Dell bluetooth keyboard/mouse combo, but the mouse is so long (>12cm) that I have trouble clicking the buttons, and not very convenient for use with laptops either.

I'm pretty sure you're right, it is a logitech re-branded mouse. I bought this mouse with the keyboard bundled during a Dell DoD. It was bundled with setpoint which is logitech software.
Laser or optical?
I'm also fairly certain it is a laser.

Most people complain that the mouse is too long and they can't reach the buttons. I have monster hands and never had a problem or any discomfort while using it. I do use my mice awkwardly though, my wrist never controls the mouse, only my fingertips are used for moving it.

I have the mouse along with dell keyboard combo for $35 back during those Deals. Good mouse and keyboard, however, you will lose signal for a slight few seconds till the mouse/keyboard reconnects back to the receiver. Again, it could just be the BT dongle (highly unlikely).
I don't have huge hands so I will go with some and say the mouse is not any ordinary mouse. It is quite long.

Thanks for the deal. I was looking for a decent BT mouse for my new T400.
Any recommendations for a BT keyboard? What is this Dell combo you speak of?
Cheers
This looks like the closest thing to a combo keyboard/mouse for $59 but I don't think it's bluetooth.

i think i've used the wired and w/l version of this Dell/LT re-branded mouse (looks almost identical) and i don't find it that "long"...
i guess it depends on each person's hand size though
it's also pretty comfortable
