I wanted to upgrade my co
outer here are the components I have.

E6300
4gb ocz pc8500 ddr2 dual channel
320gb Sata wd HD
bfg 8800gts 640mb oc
DVD rom
antec 480 true power

first boot: 3 beeps indicating no VGA present. No post.
Next day: boot up worked. I shut it off to see of it would work. Didn't work. Same 3 beeps.
Waited a while dinner. Worked again!

This is weird not sure what the problem is. It boots up every 1 in 10 trys. Could it be power supply?

Could be the power supply, but my first thought is a conflict somewhere on the motherboard. I'm a bit old school so bare with me - I'm assuming the asus board is a high end board but there is no shared resources involving VGA. The other simple thing is there any heat dissapation required? Is your MB temperature normal? is your Video card over heating?

Yes I know simple things...but just thought I'd throw my 2 cents in.....
