Gigabyte GA-MA790FXT-UD5P (http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Products/Motherboard/Products_Overview.aspx?ProductID=3005). Aside from on board video (which as a gamer, I'm not too fond of) is there anything this board needs? Are there any other comparable mobo's within it's price range? I've looked for a board to get when I upgrade and every time I end up back at this one.

Comments? Suggestions? People who own or have owned it?

You must have DDR3? DDR2 prices are still cheaper.
You also must have 2x 16x Crossfire? 790GX boards are cheaper if you don't intend to Crossfire.

What onboard video? The FX series doesn't come with onboard video, and if it did you just disable it in the bios (or enable it, turn on the surround view option, and you can run 4 monitors).

The 790fx is the Cadillac of AMD chipsets (or maybe Lexus?). Asus and MSI also have premium boards but they cost well over 200$.
I have the Am2+ 790fx version of this board, with the older sb600. It has copper heatsinks, USB and SATA ports galore, and has been rock solid for almost 2 years.
Here is a testament to it's stability:

This is a serious board for people who demand the best in quality and performance. Not a "budget" solution by any means, and most people would be better served with the 790x or 770 chipset.

That's why I was looking at this. It seems like an absolute workhorse. With this board, I won't need another one for a while as it will probably accept AMD's new series of CPU's (AM3+ or AM4 or whatever) as AM2+ supports AM3 as well. With the dual 16X PCI-E, there's no bottleneck when I link cards.
Stormy13, it was meant to read as "Is there anything this board doesn't have besides onboard video which I am not a fan of."

What's the point of two ethernet ports?

I do believe it's for bridging connections. My roomie's new board has four of them.
