I bought the previous version from Costco and it's been great (had it for 4 years). The price is excellent and the tool kit accessories are great. The only thing this pkg was missing is a muffler for the exhaust. I called Hoover and they sent me one for free :D

I wonder if the Acai berry drink is any good. I have heard about mixed reviews about it that it does wonders and some say its just expensive urine lol.

No opinion about the Acai berry drink, but I think you meant it (like many vitamins) will become "expensive urine". The way you phrase it, might lead some people to think it's what you wrote.

Edmonton NE is running low on the microsherpa blankets, mostly black, some beige left. I don't know if they have any that they haven't put out but not too many boxes left, just whats by the door that you come in. I should go to the NW store sometimes as its probably closer.

Went to the downtown Vancouver Costco Tuesday evening and noticed they also had Big Valley Mixed Berries (Frozen, 2kg) on sale. Regularly $11.99 - $3 discount = $8.99 price.

Deal said he was in a bit of a rush so maybe he missed these. Or maybe they're only discounted at the Vancouver store, don't know. Cheers

Found in Calgary too, so should be all stores in the West.

Thanks Deal !

BTW , can anyone explain that "Sales tax on the pre-rebate price" thing ?
I don't understand how does it make any sense whatsoever
The price I should pay tax on is the actual price I'm paying at the register , period .

I can't think of any other b&m\online retailer who charge tax on the pre instant rebate\saving\discount\coupon price

The ONLY instance when you have to pay tax on the pre-rebate price is with mail in rebates , which is not the case here

Actually, rebates ARE the case here. But they're instant, not mail-in. These discounts are not based on coupons or on Costco lowering their prices but are instant rebates offered by the manufacturers of the various products and are applied at the till. In fact, if you look at the price cards for each sale item you'll see the discount amount specified as "Mfr's Instant Rebate" (ie Mfr = Manufacturer). That's why you still have to pay tax on the pre-rebate price, just like with a mail-in rebate. It's a lame practice I know, but better than nothing.
