Yeah its true, tho the XBOX deal (front page Arcade @ 149) seems to be the hottest deal in the flier. The TV deals are good to since its Sharp/Sony (lowest price i've seen for those 2).

Thats the rumor. From what i hear @ EA forums, it seems like EA won't be releasing a lot of the sport games for PS2 this year... once the sport games go a lot of other will too. There might be a few ports here and there from Japan, etc tho.

Ok, i went at lunch and they had the EA Active in the back, took the guy 10 mins to find 1...then I asked if we could get price protection if it goes on sale...his response was NO...i was pretty surehe was wrong but I was late on my lunch, so I'll probably go back tonight or tomorrow. I also checked with the price scan Hot shots Golf (PSP) and Head Coach 09 (360) and they too also scanned at $5. If this is the case the sales should also include for the 360 C&C Kane's Wrath, Hail to the Chimp, Project Sylpheed as well as PSP games such as Logan's Shadow, Dark Mirror, etc. Just check prices using the in-store price scan and you might find some surprises. Shame there are no EB qualifying games though.

really? I could see saying sketchy talking about a used 360 or some other hardware prone to failure. But EB used systems come with 30 day warranty, nothing to worry about, even if you were the nervous type an extended one year warranty on PS2 slims was only a few bucks. So systems could still be had for under $20 w/ one year over counter warranty.

Again would never go out of my way to buy a used system from EB, its just last month's deal was stupid good.

It was mentioned in the other WM thread for the 360 Arcade that the $149 360 Arcade had its own special sale barcode that was different from the typical 360 Arcade that WM carries.

Yeah there is a controller already in the box, there is a content list on the side of the box. The orange sticker is just there so they can entice you into buying a second.

Speaking from experience, games that "work" on the MGS4 80GB are usually comprised in one way or another. For instance, I find that the FFXII has better anti-aliasing on the PS2 than on the MGS4 80GB. So the game looks like garbage on the MGS4 80GB. Another example is R&C: Going Commando. The game looks okay but the gameplay is choppy. The game speed feels like 1/2 slower normal than the normal value. In fact, if you search for the game's compatibility on Sony's website, it will tell you the same thing.

Succesful PM at Zellers with the WM flyer. The girl said I was lucky because they just got an email telling them to deny PMs for the Arcade 360 bundle.

Also, I got a silver PS2, which is quite nice! My other slim PS2 (black) has the AC adapter out of the console, this one has it built in, like the old fat PS2, or like the PS3, for that matter. It's a nice touch, imo.

Some go for things fresh out of oven and are willing to pay unreasonably high price for them (like $700 for a launch PS3); but many market watchers agree that now (at $299) is the optimal point to get one, or wait at least another 2 - 3 years if not longer for it to drop to $199.

No, your saved state will be gone. You will need a memory card to save anything.

You're mad if you think PS4 will be released in 3-4 years. XBOX 720 might be out by then, since M$ is desperately in need of a new console to make up for the crappy 360, but Sony said PS3 will have a 10 year life cycle. There's at least 5 more years to go.

i think there was once that Zellers tried to deny me on a PM b/c of a "RCSS flyer printout" which somehow they deemed as "wasn't real" (or didn't seem like it)... as usual IME, they wanted a real physical flyer

maybe it just depends on the CSR, but if they q? you about flyer printouts, just tell them flyers weren't delivered to you so you had to resort to looking at the one avail. online, hence only a flyer printout is avail.
