I took a picture with my blackberry, you need to make sure you get a clear shot of the price tag. On the bottom left of the superstore tag is the UPC number for the product. Its the same on all of them so the girl at the counter could'nt say anyting. I also took the tag from supertore but did not need it.

I'm gonna go grab another today as a back up, at that price why not.

Not sure how fast you drive but it only takes a half hour from SuperStore in Duncan to Langford FS. I live in Victoria was up there doing the Cowichan Valley Wine Tour.

The manager came out when I was doing it because I had the UPC on the tag they could'nt dispute it. So I doubt Langford will still do the PM as they where pissed I got it for so cheap. I'm gonna try in town today after work.

I think this is some sort of price error. I was in RCSS and I saw this cable and I was tricked for a short time by a nearby cheap cable of $9.44 but the price for the Sony was $60 something and not so visible. Anyway if you got it than good for you.

Last time I price matched.
Regular price $79.99 On sale for $59.99

They are nice cables too... braided covers, and the USB are 10 ft long, not sure about the HDMI.

I had the FS sales call WNP supterstore to verify the price and stock then able to bought one in FS for $338. too nad there is only one left. I then went to BB to ask PM but they refused to PM a receipt. BB claimed they only matched flyer or website items.

i'm not surprised some FS/BB CSRs know, but if MODs know about it, you've just made all your future PM opp.'s a lot harder (e.g. they find out a PM deal on RFD, and then they proceed to hide stock/drop prices)

i suppose you can still try PMing w/ receipts, but even then sometimes their receipts are so vague (item description) which makes PMing elsewhere a bit iffy....

you dont have to have a flyer, most of the PMs i do i dont have flyer, if they say "advertised prices only" or something like that, you can say it was advertised...on the internet, PM policy doesnt necessarily say it has to be on a flyer just "advertised". Secondly, BB/FS sales start on fridays, not every single store sale starts on friday, for all you know this sale could last a month. They just automatically assumed it was a weekly sale and that it ended thursday. If you're planning on going back and attempting to PM again and explain what i just said, they'll probably call but if you make a big deal out of it they just might cave in and not bother. If they do call a store and its OOS or something make them call all the stores around your area, PM policy doesnt state anything about the limit of calls the CSR can make. you dont have to have a flyer, most of the PMs i do i dont have flyer, if they say "advertised prices only" or something like that, you can say it was advertised...on the internet, PM policy doesnt necessarily say it has to be on a flyer just "advertised".

instead of guessing, just look at your physical RCSS flyer (or the one avail. online) and the fine print will indicate sale start/end dates

for RCSS west (AB/BC/SK), their sales have started on Sat. (and ended on Fri.) for a while now
(IIRC, a long time ago their sales started on Sun.'s)

I made that mistake once too, talk about screwing myself out of a deal... I pushed for the 10% on a deal, then while humming and hawing, they finally got through to the store they were checking with and confirmed no stock. Originally, they were on hold for like 10 minutes so they just gave up. CSR wasn't being a d*ck or anything, they just forgot, so when they called a manager to see how to do it, and that is when it all went downhill.

Coquitlam stores are easy to deal with.
It's the ones in Burnaby and Vancouver that's very difficult.
If it's the store policy, why they make it difficult and change bunch of rules that's not consistent with the store policy stated on their website and on their wall. I've spoken with managers who consistently change his/her story, and I had them to call the head office to prove to me that the "phantom condition" is new and now in effect. I've worked at both FS and BB before, I don't know what the PM hate is all about :D Most cases, FS 003 and BB 958 will match your prices if it's within reason because we want to keep your business. Unless we lose money, any money is better than no money.
