Hi,

Not for me, but for an immediate family member. No stipulations, just curious to hear your replies (however they do prefer buying from a dealer, new or nearly new).

Thanks!

Any more details?

Large car? Small car? Hatch? Turbo?

Hi, yes.

I should say that they prefer a 4 dr sedan, and not a 2 dr. They are attracted to Mini-Suvs too, or new interesting shapes, but not hatchback.

The budget is give or a take a few, but not much. I like the Accord for them, but I don't want to colour this thread by leaning on that too much. (plus I know its over 20k for the automatic with gadgetry).

Thank you kindly for your advice with this.

I would buy a second hand Acura TL or TSX for 20k.

One point of clarification. . .

Is this $20,000 after taxes? Or before taxes/freight (if bought new)?

Hi,

I asked them this much, earlier: Do you want to buy outright or lease? And they said they don't mind buying outright to save $2000 or something someone was offering them, at a dealership they inquired at, over lease.
So I'm guessing for the sake of this discussion, that they have a budget of $20k before taxes/freight.

Camry and Honda Accord is good. Those might be a little over 20k but Honda Civic Sedan is under 20k. Civic is a good gas
saver.
