Cant find anything online about this for auto insurance for lienholders. Have issue that have copy of a form saying Confirmation of insurance and signed by the agent that all insurance lessor requires is their, but when I had my accident I found out that my broker changed my insurance company. I did get a letter stating everything stayed the same just was getting a better rate. I was o.k. with this. Well since the lessor isn't on the ownership just my name, they wont deal with the lessor, understand. But the issue is my broker changed my insurance and didn't send notifcation to my leaser about this change. At the bottom of this confirmation form for insurance it states>>>> We request the insurance policy show the leaser as the lessor. Please note that the leaser requires that they be informed of any policy/binder cancellation by mail. Does that mean a change of insurance company? and if so the last line states>>>> Failure to do so will result in the leaser holding the insuring agent fully responsiable for all liabilities. So because of the change would the broker be respondsable to payout the remaining balance on the leased vehicle?
Any help with thanks
