Has anyone purchased/leased any of these yet? What's the negotiation room like? Invoice price? Family is considering one or the other. Cheerio. -k

The transmissions have a high rate of failure and as a result MB silently withdrew the extended powertrain warranty that most manufacturers have. If you get either car, make sure you get an extended powertrain warranty.

The cars you are considering are quite different; I recommend you refine your requirements a little more by test driving and considering the kind of driving you are really going to use the vehicles for.
