There has been tons of drawings of this car on the internet for years and personally I would LOVE to see the 1973 re creation by ASC.

I am just wondering what everyones first thoughts are on the looks of this car.

There is a long story to this and I will add it later with more info.

I left out the interior shots as I think the new F-body interior is really lame.

Although not much has changed from being a Camaro this may start more versions of the car.

HAHA I like the first picture but know that I am anylizing the lines its starting to look like a foreign made car. Badges, non functional vents etc. Still this thing looks tough.

I wonder how the back looks?

Meh. Looks too much like a Camaro for me to care. The 70's Trans Am's were more distinguishable from their Chevy counterparts.

I love it but it would be better without the Trans Am text on the front and sides.

Isn't Pontiac now a "defuncted" brand ala Obama and friends? That's a Camaro in the photos.

Correct, as Pontiac is no more you can kiss the thought of a new Trans Am goodbye.

This is just a re-badged and body-kitted camaro.

Not sure why people think it is actually a factory produced Pontiac. (not sure if people actually think that or are just playing around)

[Edit]: Not trying to knock this product though. I think it looks quite sharp!

To me, a Trans Am should look like this:

Nothings stops GM from releasing it as a chevy and calling it Trans AM.

Except they already have a chevy Camaro. Maybe it could be an option package on the camaro but I'm sure that would put too many people's undies in a bunch.

It looks a little 'off' imo.

I far prefer this fan rendering:

Actually GM had nothing to do with this project. That 73 re creation is badass.

First glance I thought that blue one was a Chrysler 300 with a typical weird ass kit.

On closer inspection, coo.

With Pontiac being defunct I'm guessing the car in the pics is a one-off personal vehicle? Or perhaps something from a tuner company? Gotta love those traditional crosslace wheels though :D

yes, i know that's a crappy pontiac logo, but i wasn't willing to invest the time to find a good one.
