Parking Ticket on Unassumed Road?

We live in a new subdivision in Vaughan, and all the roads are clearly marked as unassumed by the city.
Last night, a whole group of us received parking tickets from the city of Vaughan for parking between 2am and 6am.
I didn't think the city of Vaughan give tickets for parking on unassumed roads?

Is it worth fighting?

Was there signs at all that said no parking after a certain time? If there were no signs, I would definitely fight it. :D

It doesn't have to be posted, it is a city by-law no parking on city streets between 2am and 6am. I am just unsure of whether that applies to unassumed roads?
