Thank you all...I thought I saw this for 99 or 89 a few months back, but I guess I'm mistaken.
I remember reading a thread that said the prices of these things started low and then were jacked up.
From looking at few of the deals from Shopbot, this device is sold out in some places so it must be in demand.
I think I'll keep a close eye and see if the price is lowered when the WD TV 2 comes out.

Hey Pete, you're probably right, but bang for buck is important, so I might just stick to the WD TV. I've seen a few people in the BST selling it. Not sure how I feel about a used one though.

it took me a while to decide on what I was getting.. I thought fo the WD TV at first, but after reading up, I discovered the Popcorn Hour.. I figured it better suited my needs, but they all sort of do the same thing, just some have advantages over others.. either way they're all very neat and good.

Agreed...the one thing I really dislike about the WD is the quality of the remote. The popcorn hours have a much more functional and elagent remote. Ce la vie...
