View Full Version : Looking for a MONO (or cheap colour) laser printer

I was wondering if anyone knew of any cheap laser printers for school i prefer mono as i'm goin to be doing my coloured printing at school anyways, Please and thank you :)

P.S. And preferably NOT lexmark i don;t know why but i hate them with a passion

There's three that I know of at the moment:

Currently there's a $70 BROTHER HL2140 MONO LASER PRINTER at The Source

At Wal Mart, you will also find an HP Laserjet P1005 for $59.

Lastly, at Future Shop there is currently a Samsung Laser All-In-One Multifunction Centre (SCX-4300) that can be had for $99.

Edit: I'd also like to add that the HP Laserjet P1005 is the lightest and cheapest of them all. The toner cartridges are more expensive than the Brother and Samsung toner - but if you're a true RFDer, you'd get toner refills from tonerkits for $10-15.

Also, each printer should have an average page yield of about 1500 pages for every cartridge. Don't forget that they come with starter cartridges with about a 700 page yield.
