I'm in the market for a home in Markham, but I've noticed that there are multiple offer situations everywhere especially in the more desirable areas like McCowan and 16th avenue.

For those who have lived in Markham for 20+ years, do you remember what affect the last housing correction in the late 1980s had on Markham home prices?
