as you get older, do you find making decisions gets harder? such as making big purchases. i think it's because you were burned before eariler in life and you don't want to make the same mistake(s) again. i find it harder and harder to make these decisions. anyone else?

Nope. Usually when I make a poor purchase, I use the experience to make a better one next time.
Also, maybe it just seems like decisions take longer especially if you were an impulse buyer before.

Easier for me to make most decisions as I grow older. My brain just goes into auto-pilot most of the time.

It was hard to make decisions when I couldn't predict a result. Pain is a powerful teacher. It's easy to make big decisions now.

As you get older, you become more aware of how hard it is to earn money. Ppl around you are cheap and it rubs off. You get tricked thinking saving is smart and spending is dumb. Hence a big purchase is over analyed to death.

It terms of making purchasing decisions, definitely easier. In university and high school I didn't have much money and was very careful with my spending (I remember when anything over 50 was such a big purchase for me, lol). Now that i work and make money I am definitely more relaxed in the spending department. I guess it helps when you're still young and don't have any dependents to support.
However.... i'm starting to approach that age where I will eventually have to start making more important life decisions; where I want to go with my career, if i want to ever get married, etc. It's something I definitely don't want to think about and I wish I was partying like it was 1999.
