***WARNING: GRAPHIC VIDEO BELOW, WATCH AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION!***

In a shocking discovery, this brutal and graphic video has just not been posted to the internet. It is a video supposedly taken from December of 1984 in which Bobby J Blythe, a karate "master instructs his student to brutally beat an individual who is seriously mentally ill. This man was later discovered dead in a dumpster and Blythe was never charged.

********************

^I haven't had the guts to watch the video myself. If the admins/mods requests that I remove the link to the video, then I will comply. I just wanted to get the news out.

The Hanford Police Department has launched an investigation regarding this incident:

http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=e72_1250973609

"It is such a disturbing video and whether it's real or not that still needs to be confirmed," said Hanford Police Chief Carlos Mestas.

Chief Mestas says his department is assisting in the investigation of a possible crime committed 25 years ago in the state of Virginia.

"This was a very disturbing beast type of beating," said Mestas.

The footage was supposedly taken on December 13, 1984 at a karate dojo reportedly owned by Sgt. Bobby Joe Blythe who may now be living in Hanford.

"1984, that's 25 years ago, so this guy, the owner of the Dojo was 38 or 39 years old. We think that he was possibly in the military at the time hence Quantico Virginia," said Mestas.

Blythe has not been named a suspect. Attempts by KMPH News to speak with him at his home in Hanford have gone unanswered.

Sick...just sick...the culprits deserve to be punished to the full extent of the law.

Wow I watched it. It's messed up. Clearly the guy is a bit mentally ill.

The guy pretty much submitted "Okay I admit it you're good." "Okay you got it". The guy still beat him to the ground, kneed him in the head and then repeatedly stomped this head/neck.

Disturbing..

Wow, that was brutal, and totally unnecessary, especially for someone like that who is supposedly a martial artist to continue beating someone who has been made incapacitated already. There's no denying that's real footage. Gross, and that guy totally deserves to be in jail.

Looks like the guy was just knocked unconscious, what makes you think he died?

I've seen this already a while back, I find the end of the video gruesome.

Highlight below to read
The blackbelt stomped on the guy's head several times while he was down, and then they dragged him out and there was blood trails, really disgusting stuff

The police chief said it's highly likely that the victim was dead after the beating, if not at least seriously injured. The video description also mentions the guy's death.

The 2-3 stomps on the neck don't just render you unconscious.

Heh the black belt probably thought the man was mocking karate and decided to show him a thing or two. He took it a little too far though. You can hear the man say he was just teaching and not fighting. Though, mocking a black belt is probably never a good idea.

Where are you seeing this? It's said he was thrown in the dumpster, presumably alive.

My guess is he got a concussion or at worst a skull fracture.

In any case the black belt's actions after the victim was clearly incapacitated are inexcusable.

That black belt's technique is actually pretty sloppy. He starts out with groin kicks and after a while you can see his desperation. He might've beaten that mentally ill guy but against a skilled martial artist he would've lost.

Well, the title of the video itself in big red letters say:

Mentally Challenged man seriously beaten, possibly to death.

Then the description says:

This man was later discovered dead in a dumpster and Blythe was never charged.

Then if you click on the third link in the opening post or below:

You can hear the Police Chief talk about the incident.

Probably one of the people who filmed the video decided to share it on the internet recently and it spread like wildfire.

Wow, can you imagine that? After all this time, nobody would have known this mans story. Hopefully the police will look into this, where ever it took place and get to the bottom of it.

This really makes me sad.

I studied Karate (Uchi-Ryu Kute-Do) for 14 years(age 7 to 21), and am familiar with breaks of various materials(ice, concrete, woods)

The neck strikes were of no consequence. That was a kill hit on the side of the head, with the floor to support the rear of the strike. You can clearly hear the skull cracking at the base under pressure.

sorry mods, i get it

:D

yeah seriously, just sickening.

the black belt obviously had an intent to kill the guy, especially the stomp to the neck he did at the end.

also, when he got the black belt got the crazy guy down on the floor, he said "mother ****er" so he totally lost his cool in that match and no one to stop him.

just found some info that was said by other people so I don't know how accurate this is:

This man was later discovered dead in a dumpster and Blythe was never charged.

The instructor Bobby J Blythe had this to say about the incident:

‘This dummy was in my shopping center while I was on a Bodyguard Job in Washington, DC. This guy was in the Pizza Hut eating pizza off the plates of others and the Pizza Hut Manager ran him out with a pistol. Later the very same day, police officers were called to remove him from a nearby pharmacy after having been caught reaching into customer’s purses. A short time after that, he visited a Napa Auto Parts store next to my Karate Dojo and told the management he planned on teaching in that Dojo and that Jesus taught him.

‘The Napa guys told him he was confused (their polite way of warning the man against such action), but not wanting to miss a show, they told the man they would close early just to watch and that he must not know the owner, which is nobody to play with.. Needless to say, the police pulled him out of the dumpster behind my Karate Dojo where he was neatly placed. Semper Fi to all my Marine brothers. The karate student in the white is also a Marine Sgt. and a brand new Black Belt. Never get stupid with a Marine, you could get jacked up and have your clock stopped.’”

Let's not forget, the guys at bullshido.com did a lot of this work. Make sure we give them some credit, not just Reddit/Digg/4chan. Either way, I don't think we've confirmed that the victim here was actually killed, however I truly hope that everyone in that room is convicted of something, even if it's minor.

It would be nice to see DA's pushing for these guys to get punished instead of trying to always, "Make an example." of minor drug busts, high school kids pulling pranks, or whatever other stuff is little and non-violent.

You know what, I watched it again and I don't see how the guy is mentally challenged. The only thing that might make you think so is that he claims Jesus taught him his karate. That might make him a bit of a kook but it doesn't make him mentally ill.

As bad as that is, it doesn't disturb me.

After watching some terrorist videos from the middle east you'll become numb to this type of thing.

Watched it the other day. It was disturbing and disgusting. The mcdojo instructor and the student should in shame to represent martial art that way.

A guy on the bullshido forums claims the black belt in the video is his father, and the reason he was so angry was because the kung fu guy had just threatened a bunch of kids. He also claims the police investigated and did not charge anyone, and in fact the kung fu guy got arrested for stealing something the next day.

I think there is a law which say it is illegal if you see a dying person and refuse to help. According to the officer in the other video, because everyone in the room just watched and didn't do anything to stop the man from getting beaten to death, they will all be charged. I believe the reporters who were 1st at the scene at Princess Diana's death were charged (but not convicted) of this crime: the paparazzi were too busy taking photos that they didn't bother perform first aid.

It helps if you are trying to save someone's life...better than the other option of squeamish reactions and throwing up all over someone's open wounds.
