My Furnace Fan doesn't blow air anymore what's the warranty with 3rd party A/C installed. My A/C company offered 1 year labour and 2 year parts warranty.

Is 2 years parts from the mfr and would i be able to claim it directly for parts. I understand I may have to pay for labour. Can I also sign up a maintenance contract and get the repair covered. Direct Energy says I have to have no open issues in order to kick start a maintenance contract. Is it correct? Has anyone faced this situation? House is about to be 2 yrs old soon. Had it been no A/C (installed 1.5 yrs ago) I think it would have been covered. Any ideas how to get this fixed economically?

Thanks

Have you tried contacting the companies who installed any of these things and asked them yet?

Yes I did and according to the my A/C installer I would have to pay the labor considerng it's over a year and the part we would have to take it from the mfr for warranty. I have my original builder contractor coming in to check and then I will know if this is doable with them as well. If not then I have to fall back to my A/C co. Thanks.
