Dividend Payments and Questrade

I have a stock that was ex-div on July 31 and issuing the dividend today. How long does it take in people's experience to receive the dividend payment? Will Questrade send me a note to show that the dividend is in my account?

it will show up in Penson and be reflect in the Balance section in Questrade. On the pay date.

there's no note but you should see your cash balances increase the following day since they are updated once after each day.
