Hello,

I'm looking to obtain new pair of Grado SR80i or SR80 headphones, not used, for gaming and movies on my PC but I'm not audiophile I have no idea where pick them up at reasonable prices. I'm looking for the Canada Computers of audio gear kinda. I live in Toronto but I'm willing to tavel to any place from Scarbrough to Etobicoke also is there cheaper alternative to the Grado SR80i or SR80 for around $100 including tax again. I'm not audiophile just want decent sound for gaming and movies.

SR60 was 99$before tax @ baybloor radio thats the lowest i can recall in local stores.

grado has some kind of price protection policy for stores and web stores, i dont think u can get sr80 for that price.

btw i prefer sr60 and sr60i to sr80. their soundstage r very different.

I checked baybloor radio site $150.00 now for the sr80. At head fi they told me go for the JVC HA-RX700 I found these only online shipped for $83.00.

Bay Bloor and Great Metropolitan Sound (GMS) both sell these. I have had the SR80 (excellent product) and got mine from GMS and was able to haggle on a price with them.
