Question on Prepaid Mastercard with $US$ currency on it

I recently got a bunch of rebates back from MIR's on various computer products. I believe they are all rebates in USD. I have tried using them a couple of times and it seems as though they aren't working. 2 questions here:

Do these have to be used in America since they have USD on them?
Can I walk into my bank and deposit money off a prepaid MC into my account?

If I understand you correctly, you received rebates from a US company, and they paid these to you in the form of a pre-paid Mastercard?

I'd check whatever documents came with the card, or phone whoever issued it (there should be a number on the back, or something). I wouldn't be surprised if there were restrictions on international transactions, or cash advances.

Yes that is correct. I guess I may have to call them, that just usually takes a long time and I was wondering if anyone had the same experience and could comment.
