I have this computer: http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/product.do?subcategoryind=0&familyind=391823&brandind=11&doccategoryind=0&modelind=401879&doctypeind=3&validate=true&partnumberind=0&sitestyle=lenovo&template=%2Fproductpage%2Flandingpages%2FproductPa geLandingPage.vm&operatingsystemind=121210&machineind=391885

And I need a graphic card. It looks like I have PCIE 1.1 I was wondering if I can use PCIE 2.0 cards in it, as they are much easier to find and cheaper.

I need this to run Solid Works 2009 Professional.

Thanks!!!

PCI-E 1.1 vs 2.0 doesnt matter, as long as it is a PCI-E card into a PCI-E slot, it will work. The 2.0 is just a higher bandwidth (that will not be maxxed out until 2013 at least)
