How do I configure my mouse so that when I click a lick with my click wheel (middle button)
it will open a new tab?
BTW my mouse model is Microsoft wireless Notebook optical Mouse 3000

It depends on browser individually.
For Firefox, my mouse does it automatically. But when I had Microsoft mouse, I had to install the mouse software that you could download easily on Microsoft website which will enable you to set what each button does.

Take a screenshot of that program and post it here. I will try to remember which one it was.
If I remember correctly Default was the option to choose.

with Logitech mice (with SetPoint software) the key is simply called "Middle Button". Does that software have it anywhere in that list? Looks like this in SetPoint

According to screenshot, it doesn't.
Gebraroest: try either Open or New.
Oh and IntelliType
For mice it's called IntelliPoint

Scroll up and choose "middle-click" if it is available.
