Is it possible to install Windows Vista using a usb drive? If so, does anyone have any good tutorials explaining the process?

I have a dell laptop which the dvd drive recently failed and I would like to reformat and avoid having to buy an external dvd drive to complete the task.

Thanks for any info!

Faster the drive, faster it'll install.

A fast USB drive will install Win7 on an ordinary HDD in around 15 mins. If you have an SSD, 10 minutes :)
