I just got a flash light and it uses a 18650 battery. Where can I get one locally in the GTA? I know deal extreme has it, but I kinda need it soon. Thanks!

Got any old laptop batteries? A lot of them used this type of battery.

I dont unfortunately. If I did, all I would do is tear the casing off and inside would be a bunch of 18650 batteries?

Yes!
Latitude D830 batteries also use the 18650. As do many Thinkpad packs. They're very common. And a lot of those laptop battery packs end up failing because of one or two (of the 6-9) seriously degraded cells relative to others -- ie: 'wear' is far from even on them.
Shouldn't be too hard to find if you know people who have computer junk sitting around. I have about 20-25 of them sitting around here, used... But I'm not in the GTA unfortunately....

I ended up getting them from DX. I needed to use it right away but I made due without it. Man I had no idea how big this battery was going to be. All 18650 batteries are rechargeable, correct?
