Hey folks.
I have what I consider a good deal on a Blackberry 8220 for Rogers customers (and maybe anyone else).
I bought this phone off a friend (well...now former friend) a few weeks ago, and it was absolutely like new in the box. His mother got it as a hardware upgrade but did not get used to the BB features so she did not use it. I got the phone and unlocked it to use with Fido and it works fine, EXCEPT the Bluetooth feature. It cannot be turned on. Wifi works fine, cellphone works fine, all other functions are fine. PIN is working fine. Just the BT functionality is not there.
I called Rogers and because Im not a Roger's client they cannot help me. The guy told me that if someone with Rogers cellphone adds this phone to their account they would fix the phone, but Im with Fido so they told me to get lost.
Scenario 1 - Buy it and use the phone without Bluetooth. Good for anyone.
Scenario 2 - Buy it, call Rogers to have it added to your account and then take it to a Rogers store for repair/replacement.
Anyways, the guy who sold it to me is being a d**k and keeps avoiding me now that he got my money.
Phone is complete in the box, with whatever accessories normally come with it.
I paid 200 bucks for this + unlocking. Selling now for 150.00 and eating the loss.
