Watch out for C Ronaldo's legs getting broken. Apparently R Mad just insured them for 90 million pounds. A little training "accident" and they'll get to pocket 10s of millions of dollars profit.
They'll likely also sue TFC, blaming it on their artificial pitch!

Actually Toronto put in expensive natural turf (http://www.thestar.com/sports/article/645982)at the request of Real Madrid.
The Toronto FC star lashed out at the "terrible" artificial playing surface at BMO Field, which the club said yesterday it will spend nearly $250,000 to cover with temporary grass for an Aug. 7 match against European soccer titan Real Madrid.

Yeah, DeRo. He's regularly been an MLS MVP, at least at his previous teams.

Yeah, that's right. So they'll sue them for the temporary pitch instead!

a couple of questions - is this arranged seating? or is it sit wherever you want (can)?
Are there still a lot of tickets left for walk ups?

Tickets seem to be available online - with the TM fees added. >:(
I would have liked to go, but the added expense of driving up alone from Niagara makes it a bit too expensive to watch these multimillionaires do 1 hour of stretching exercises on their newly-laid pitch.
Guess I should have asked earlier if anybody else from Niagara was going.

arranged seating, my tickets state row and seat number. not sure if theres any tickets left. purchased mine a week ago. a good bargain considering people paid more than $150 to watch a friendly on friday. u get to see top players like C.Ronaldo, Kaka, Raul and maybe Alonso (who signed this week from Liverpool). I'm assuming they might start doing tricks and what not to please the fans. for $15, its a good deal. With TM fees ( I used the print ticket option - which can be taken off - $2 less I believe) it came out to about $19 per ticket. still a good deal IMO.

Could be fun watching fans of the players' previous clubs hurling abuse (and other things, it being TFC and all) at the players who recently jumped ship to RM riches! Imagine the financial damage that a lone hooligan with solid boots could do on that pitch - C.Ron-whack! Kaka-whack! Alonso-whack! Over 100 million pounds'-worth of damage in less than 60 seconds! Hopefully that won't happen, but I suspect security will be extra-tight just in case. Though Madrid do apparently have them all well-insured against injury.
Wonder if the WAGs will be "doing tricks and what not to please the fans"?
