Nah, it was an impulse purchase so i don't want to bother complaining. I'd rather they ship the Philips DVD player that is still "in production" according to my dell acct.

BTW, I ordered this drive around 9 am EST, the one item I used Paypal for -- maybe that made it easier for them to cancel.

I sent them a message asking them why they canceled. I just got an email from a subcontractor company saying that if I need customer service, I have to call them...

Too bad for them. I will change my computer this year and the xps serie was a contender. Why should I pay more to get that kind of crappy customer service?

Very strange....I ordered and right after I ordered, it immediately went off the website. Just called dell now to check on order status, and the guy said it will be at my place expected date of August 19th. Its a little whilte out but he didn't say it was cancelled.

Wonder if they are not cancelling the orders of people who have bought computers from them, since I bought my laptop from dell under order history.
