that is so cheap.. I had to pay $25+ for all 3 sticks I brought over the last couple months..
Edit: came to my senses and decided not to order any... spent 10 minutes trying to think of a laptop to stick it in, and none of my laptop need it... saved myself $11.29 :)

There's a compatibility list to the right of where the price is listed. Your laptop is listed as being compatible.

This looks like a really good time to pick up some DDR memory modules. There's quite a number of them within $25-$30 range.
16gb Kingston USB - $20

Given Dell's history, those who ordered will be getting a "your order has been cancelled" email in the next few hours. Chances of receiving the RAM at that price - slim to nil.

You are probably right.. but I hope it's because you know how much Dell does that as apposed to being jaded over the prices offered. ;)

I know these are branded as "...for Select Dell Systems", but does anyone know if these can be installed in a non-Dell laptops? They just look like typical 200 pin SODIMM. I ordered these thinking I was going to buy a Dell Studio, but I changed my mind at the last minute and bought a Lenovo SL500 instead.

Yes, the laptop ram fits my acer laptop and the desktop ram can be used on my two year old compaq desktop

Yup. As long as the system uses the correct type of memory and it's at least as fast as required you're OK. I just popped two of the Dell puppies into my Lenovo X61s without any problems. (The X61s requires PC2-5300 and the Dell modules are PC-6400, i.e. faster.)
