Dental Floss is recommended to take off Emblems.

I would just rip it off slowly, either you will need to use Googone.

Hair dryer softens the glue and works very well but be careful to remove the sticker. As someone else said, peel it off slowly. Also, don't get the area too hot.
WD40 will take off the remaining glue.

Start with the least aggressive method first (warm water) and then progress to Goo Gone and hair dryer if it's not effective. You can do quite a bit of damage to your paint with a heat gun, so keep it moving if you do end up using it.
