I wanted to thank Roger for starting and working on the tankless group buy for so long. I wanted to let everyone know that the group buy is still on and I am going to be taking over the admin position on this.

unfortunately not. That group buy was a long time ago. This is now the third. That pricing was secured in 2008 and I cannot purchase units for that same pricing. The price at $2299 is the current group buy.

I just wanted to re-iterate what a good price this is. The price I was quoted by Sears for the identical unit (Rinai RE75LSiN) was $ 1100 more expensive.

Let's go people. Get rid of that rental.

I'm in, but we need more interested parties to make this work before the rebates expire.

Is there still a group buy for ottawa ?

I am out of town until this Sunday. I am open for bookings from the 17th of Aug-The 4th of Sept. These will be booked on first come first serve basis, based on having the deposits in our hands.

I plan on being in Ottawa starting on the 26th of Aug for a few days, assuming I get enough deposits from Ottawa members.

Details of the Group buy:

$2299.99+gst

includes: 10' of gas line (exisiting gas line must be large enough or there will be a surcharge to upgrade.

10' ea of Cold and Hot water lines. (we suggest hooking the cold line up just past the water meter if possible.

12" standard termination vent. This works well with a standard 8", un-framed wall, with builders insulation. If it requires longer than this, there will be a fee for upgrading.

If you haven't done so yet, please send pictures of your furnace room, current gas line, water meter and water tank, along with a few pictures of the outside walls where you would like the unit mounted from both inside the basement and outside of the basement. This will allow me to give you a good idea of some extras that may be needed.

For freeze protection, does unit include
solenoid valves and sub-pc board or at
what costs? Is the isolators for cleansing the system
included.

Can anyone from ottawa share their experience and/or
