Since I don't know of any motocycle forums, I thought I might as well start here.

Earlier today, I was rummaging through some old items at my girlfriend's place and found this gem sitting there collecting dust and spiderwebs:

It is owned by her brother but he doesn't want it anymore so essentially I just gained myself a "new" antique scooter!! It seems to run but I suspect there's rust inside. Anyway, just to be safe, I'd to tune it up a bit. But I need to know the details of the scooter. I tried searching for it online to find a match but can't seem to find out what model or year it is. From online photographs, it's probably sometime in the decade 1960 - 1970. Also tried eBay.

A few more pics. Thanks to anyone that can help me ID this!

Ahhh PUCH!
They are owned by the massive moto company Piaggio. They have A LOT of scooter brands... e.g. Aprilia, Vespa, Piaggion itself, gilera, etc... most are in Europe. They are known for their old school mopeds and scooters. A lot of scooter enthusiast like restoring them for their vintage retro feel...

But of course they aren't as coveted as Vespas and Lambrettas.

You might have a hard time finding parts since they haven't made many scooters/mopeds in a while...
Try the Toronto moto scooter club.

Thanks UrbanPoet. It's a start.
Unfortunately, I found this in Austria so any support from the Toronto Moto Scooter Club could prove to be difficult.

Some sleuthing found that Puch is an Austrian brand so I could luck out securing parts since I'm here.

I'm really loving this scooter. It's heavy as hell but the "retro-ness" factor is off the scale!
