The price used to be competitive from station to station long time ago. Now it's region to region.
I'm on the road all the time and found out that gas price in Hamilton or some other regions are cheaper. Even Ottawa is cheaper than Toronto when it used to be the other way around before.
Now I just fill up at Husky with the $2 coupon from RFD if I'm in GTA.

No kidding, and when you say "used to be" you're talking 5 years or so, seriously.

WTF someone needs to do something....I go to US every other week and get my RX350 filled up with 93 octane for $0.80/L CAD at a US Sunoco in Buffalo while if I were to do that here it its more than $1.17 at my local sunoco...what even stabs the wound deeper is if I were to drive another 200km to pensylvania or New jersey I would be paying less than $0.66 on a 93 octane from sunoco...basically we are paying double the price here in canada...atleast the GTA...even 78 cents like this guy is saying is highly reasonable compared to the freakign 95.5 cents per litre we are getting when oil is at $65 a barrel...refining costs havent risen...they have actually decreased and continue to do so...transportation costs decreased....yet last year when the price for gas was 95.5 cents per litre...the oil price was over $100 a barrel...at this rate when oil goes back to $100/barrel...we will be paying about $2 per litre (what US pays per gallon (3.86L)) and if it goes back to the all time high of $140....I'm guessing we will be at $3/L?? If that day comes...I'm going to be bankrupt! I drive about 30-35k km/year a tank of 75L in my RX 350 gets me 600km

33000/600
= 55 tanks
75*55
= 4125L
I put prem so if regular is $3...Prem is always 20% more here so i'm guessing 3.6/L
so...
4125*3.6
=$14850/year on gas?
No thanks...
also if this happens....We are definatly going from recession to depression

More people are located in GTA or T.O. so you pay most there but the high prices do trickle down region to region as well.

The Government screws you and taxes you to death while lying about giving you a break but they don't. Then they waste the revenues they were supposed to use for social programs, education or healthcare or they steal that, too, for themselves.

The only thing you can do is NOT vote contrary to the B.S. they feed you that you have to 'to make a difference' which is what they wanted all along to preserve the system and their control. ;) (P.S., I'm serious).
