Here's the story...
2004 Lexus RX330 from Leading Edge Motor Sales (Woodbridge, near Weston/Highway 7)
During test drive, we noticed a weak clicking noise coming from the glove compartment
Dealer promised to fix it. On the purchase agreement, it says "clicking noise from glove compartment to be fixed"
Car was picked up on the 9th of July
Dealer claimed it tried to fix it, the noise is gone, and if it ever comes back, bring back the car to get the servo motor replaced (cause of the clicking noise)
Note: I did a research on clublexus.com, and it is a fairly common problem.
The noise returned on the 11th of July
I made the call to the dealer immediately.
After going back and forth on the phone, the dealer agreed to take a look at it yesterday, 23rd of July.
They then called quoting the repair to be $380 and they are unwilling to pay for it.
After arguing/convincing with them without any luck, I took the car back without the fix.
I'm wondering what are my options at this point?
I will file a UCDA complaint, but is there anything else that I can do at the moment? Please let me know. Thank you.
