I am interested in picking up an Acura TL Type S 07 or 08.

I found someone selling an 07 with 80,000km on it, black, mint in and out, one owner, no accidents or issues, all orginal. He was asking $25999. I talked him to $24500 all in including taxes.

Is this a good deal? From a price standpoint for the Type S it sounds good to me, just the 80,000KM seems kind of high, but again its a Honda so should be no issues for long term.

Any thoughts or suggestions? Or maybe someone who has a Type S looking to sell it with lower mileage for a decent price? :) (if so, PM me)

Anyways - thanks for any comments or suggestions in advance!

Honda's and Acura's both have weak transmissions, just make sure the transmission hasn't been ripped up in that car, especially since it's a Type S. We have one in the house and if maintained carefully, one of the most beautiful cars you'll ever own.

Good luck.

probably you have to replace tires and brakes..
TL type-s eats tire thread a lot. Brakes too.($1K-2K depends on)
other than these, good price~

Is this a private sale or from a dealer? If private, how can the seller offer a price including tax?

Make sure it's a Canadian car and I'd run a Carproof report just to make sure all the other info you've been given checks out.

My brother just picked up a 2007 TL-S and absolutely loves it! I have a 2005 TL and while not as nice as the S, it's still a great car.

80K kms on the car is high for me, but to each his own. If you like the car then go for it, otherwise, if you have doubts, best to stay away.
