At less than a dollar its not a bad deal, but on top of that they give you 4 batteries too.

So if the game you get isn't quite your taste then at least you got 4 AA's out of it.
maybe i should named the thread Free GBA game bundled with 4 batteries

OMFG, I have seen those "game+batteries" packs in a few stores (lots of Ecks vs. Sever), and they're so old the batteries are corroded and leaking, with all kinds of noxious gas floating around.

Great buy!!

None in my area. Sold out almost everywhere. Also I doubt anyone will find Castlevania. I remember when these were going for $9.96 and I tried to find Castlevania and could not find it anywhere. Also for places that the internet says have stock don't expect it to. Last time I went looking for a GBA game at The Source they said they shipped them all of somewhere or they can't find them.

None anywhere near me. The Source I phoned that was supposed to have stock said that they don't have any anymore. They said that they either got shipped of somewhere (and online stock didn't get updated) or they can't find them (lost in the back room).

which store and location was this?

You talking about the Longuieil one here? Would you mind reporting what they had left, because I can only go there on Thursday after work and you'll probably take everything. I wouldn't mind a Castlevania.

i was hoping assorted meant they weren't all the same "ecks vs Sever" sent a buddy to pick up some 5 games assuming they'd be different, was so wrong.

I'm gonna try getting the last 10 in my city, with hopes that different games that are decent are available

I actually picked that back up back in February for $0.96, so the sale must have been on since then. Haven't played the game yet and the 4 AA batteries exploded already since the package is so old, but for under $1 a game, I can't expect much.

It'll be like the hockey shirt sizing fiasco. The web page will have you expecting a great deal, but if you ordered 10 you'd end up with 2 copies of Soduku and 8 copies of My Little Pony.

"29.9x"! Yeah, right! How ancient must they be?

Castlevania would be a sweet game to get for 96 cents!

I'm still looking for a REAL copy of FFVI for GBA. I had ordered one from this website and it shipped from Hong Kong. Needless to say once I got the package and looked at the manual and box I knew it was a fake ...

Should have bought it from Loblaws when I had the chance.

I really, really doubt you're going to find Castlevania, Lufia, Advance Wars, or any kind of big-name title in these packs. It's probably going to be Ecks vs Sever all the way.

Hey yeah! Maybe they have a sealed Earthbound in the back waiting for you! It's listed as stock but the location is a bit iffy, quick hit all the stores and waste your time!

Try eBay, plenty of "real" copies, both new and used. I bought mine from a Rogers, 19.99 but scanned in at 7.99 plus 20% off =

Yes, I went to the one in Place Longueuil this morning. Can't find the "3" in stock, staff didn't bother to look into their computer and told me go shop at EB games.

Ouch... never experienced that kind of employee at La Source, usually they'll check their computers since they have nothing else to do.

Yeah I doubt I'll be able to find a real copy in store locally at this point. So far I've gotten FF I & II, III, IV, V and I think I still have VI for SNES at home ... just need a new SNES lol

at this low of a price NEVER, ask for it by name catalog number.
That way they don't get to be pricks, and to make sure i don't get stiffed i usually ask for all the copies.

Make sure they're not hiding something awesome in the back
