It may be a clearance item at one SDM, but not available at another SDM, so I highly think this is not a YMMV, but is probably only available at one store. So is not really your mileage "may" vary:cheesygri

SDM = shopper's drug mart
YMMV = your method/market may vary...in other word, your local store may/may not carry it

used in forum talk meaning that your results will vary

Sorry about the confusion, I just wanted to keep the title short. I was at another shoppers and I didn't see it for $9.99, hence the YMMV :)

All the Sony headphones at my local SDM were on clearout for a bit... but when I finally decided to buy a pair for myself, I notice they are no longer on sale. Boo-urns

i always thought it was mileage

anyway, it may not only be a case of whether or not the local SDM store carries it, but i find that clear-outs at SDM are sometimes store-dependent

These are the cheapest built headphones ever made. They feel SO flimsy, and make tons of creaking noises while on your head. The only upside to this is that they are really light, but their poor construction causes them to be uncomfortable anyway. The sound quality isn't much either. They probably spent $1.50 building this thing. Buy it if you need a junker headphone for a spare PC or something

i agree with ventro. i have these headphones as well and they just broke last week. dropped it once and it was gg. the wire for these headphones are really long! thats my +1. i had them for about... 2-3 months. they don't really fit firmly on. i still prefer my old headphones which i currently are using now: panasonic rp-htx7.

London stores are a no! $34.99 still. They have some other brand though that is on sale, for 30% off or something.

For $10 it is ok. Can't expect them to sound as good as my ATH-W1000 or my mod'ed HD580. Just want a cheap pair for my cubicle.
