Did a quick search and didn't see this deal.

Rogers Video was selling Harry Potter 1 - 5 BD for $16.99 each.

It was in their July flyers (in store).

Edit and Update: Did a PM at FS today for all 5 movies, so with the movie cash, it's an even better deal than Rogers.

I saw the standard DVDs Harry Potter 1-4 (not sure about #5) for $14.99 at Walmart, Scarborough Town Centre Mall, with a sticker for coupon to see HP 6 in theatres for free. I already have them all and will be going to see it on Tuesdays anyway, so did not buy any of them.

bought mine today @ Bestbuy. 1-4 were 24.99 so I pm'ed FS who has it for 16.99. After PM should've been 16.19 but cashier said "15.19" each.. So i didnt say anything lol.. the 5th one was 34.99 and FS had it for 21.99 after PM its still cheaper to get it for 19.99 w/ movie cash. total for me $91.25. I was gonna get the one @ Costco 1-5 box set for 60+ but the SLIM cases turned me off.. coz i was thinking, when I get the 6-7 they will have regular BD cases

Got all 5 on HD DVD. Haven't sat down and watched any straight through yet, but what I have seen looks excellent. These are movies that deserve the hi-def treatment.

I went to the one at Heartland, near Mavis and Britannia. They have them there along with Ice Age 1 and 2 and some other movies. They got rid of the X Men singles pretty fast.

Wow, I bought all 5 HP BD with $10 movie cash today at BB
I think it's a pretty good deal since I plan to watch some movies in the theatre this summer
So these work with Cineplex famous players theatres?

Also, do the Costco BD Harry potter for $14.99 come with movie cash?

if you have an hd-dvd player, you can get them from inetvideo.com for 3-6$ each.... think it worked out to $22 all on their own, or 30$ for the collectors pack that has them all.

I was thinking about just buying all those, then when I get a blu-ray burner sometime down the road, hook up my hd-dvd player to my computer and burn blu-ray copies.

They don't. Otherwise I would have picked up all five. 4.99 per movie is lava hot.

I was going to wait for the box set but with the $10 movie cash, the deal is certainly tempting.

You can't just decrypt and burn an HD-DVD movie to a blank Blu-Ray disc and expect it to work: Blu-Ray players use Java as the source of their "smarts", but HD-DVD players use a Microsoft technology called "HDi", which isn't the same thing. So, even if you could get the Blu-Ray player to read the data, there would be no way to make the movie "play", which is kind of important.

...unless you're trolling, in which case, nevermind.

i think the ones at FS are DVD not BD; with the exception of Chamber of Secrets the prices are the same as BB for the BD, ie 19.99
