HMV has the Knowing and Push Blu-ray movies for $22.99. Both are new releases too.

Knowing Blu-Ray: http://www.hmv.ca/hmvcaweb/en_CA/displayProductDetails.do?sku=1269792

Push Blu-Ray: http://www.hmv.ca/hmvcaweb/en_CA/displayProductDetails.do?sku=1265844

Both have great reviews at Bluray.com as reference quality blu-ray discs for video and sound. But the movies are left for you to decide if they are good.

Best Buy and FS have the Knowing for $28.99 and Push for $26.99. So you can PM for a little less!

Thanks OP. Re the movie, Knowing is so so unless you really like Ncage. Push on the other hand is not bad esp if you like HK scenery

Agreed with Knowing, it's so-so, not bad. Push on the other hand, had nothing memorable. There wasn't any scene that really stuck with me, aside from Camila Belle.

Is $22.99 for Blu-rays good deals now? I'm too corrupted by HD-DVD movies for $5.

Probably a good price. But to be honest, I usually wait for the 2 for $30 at either Rogers or BBV since I could wait for these two titles.

On an unrelated note, you can buy Harry Potter 1 - 5 on BD from Rogers for $16.99 this week.

The picture is a blu ray disc but the description says DVD .....so maybe just an error on the website ....

Knowing fell apart in the Act 3, when its ending became some Mission to Mars/Signs/Deep Impact hybrid.

dont pay anything past $15 for blus now, new or used i dont care. BB has the 2 for 30 deal which is nice..i swoop in once every 2-3 weeks and grab 2-4 blus.

then theres sales sometimes for 10 per or 15 per at bigger chains. 22 bucks is good for new releases, dont get me wrong...its just these arent quite triple A movies if you know what i mean.

Having seen both of these I don't even think I would buy them for $5. Both very, very poor films. Knowing starts off well but then just kind of "ends" and there is little build up or drama. It shoud have been an extra 1/2 hour to make it a better film.

Push is the opposite - WAY too long, WAY too drug out, and then there is not even an ending! On top of this most of the FX are really poor and not up to today's standard.

Agreed - this is a good price but with the 2 for $30's going until the end of August and movies showing up PV'd after 3 weeks, I can wait out most titles (like these ones - watchmen on the other hand, not so much).

If you scan the format section on the page it says 'blu-ray'. HMV site is left to be desired relative to BB and FS, quite confusing as they lump 'hi def' with DVD section. I checked them at my local HMV and they are the same prices online.
