Have also been looking, as its getting close to sept i'm thinking about waiting to see if a 3rd generation is released.

Apple had their keynotes on iPods in Fall for the past 2 years if you were wondering about a third generation. IMO, I don't think there will be a third generation just like the classic; they'll update the exterior at most. The firmware 3.0 was just released as well.
