Future Shop stealthily dropped the price of Deadly Creatures and de Blob recently to $22.99. However, Best Buy still carries them for $55 and $35, respectively.

Price-match at Best Buy to get:

Deadly Creatures for $19.79 instead of $55

de Blob for $21.79 instead of $35

When I PM'd, I had to "remind" the guy to take 10% of the difference because he "forgot", so make sure to check the total before handing over your card. And then he took 2 minutes with his calculator to figure it out, and even then got it wrong and gave me more of a discount.

I don't know if anyone cares about these games but please don't yell at me! It's my first post!

Not bad. I read it and thought it would be $13 for De Blob after PM. :cheesygri

Thanks for doing the math though.

It took me a while to figure out what the $13 and $35 in the title refered to.

It would be easier for everyone if you post the final price in the title rather than the amount saved.

Switched "price drop" to "off".

Is that clearer?

It amazes me that BB/FS don't have a PM calculator in their system or do any sort of training on their own pricematch guarantee.

Almost every freaking time I get them to price match (which isn't that often, maybe 5 times a year), they pull out the calculator and struggle with it like its advanced algebra, and half the time they screw it up and discount too much.

de Blob is a cute take on your platformer style game and makes decent enough use of the Wiimote. However, like most Wii games, I played it for maybe 5 hours tops before getting bored of it.

For that price, it's worth getting, especially if you actually do enjoy playing the Wii.

de Blob is a great game, my 4 yr old loved it and got pretty good at it. My wife liked it as well, and I also got hooked on it until I finally finshed it. It's good for mindless stress relief, simple goals but had some tough sections. Each level can take 45-60 mins if you want to try and get all the goals, and there is no save option, which is the only real con. Easily worth $20 or so, I think I got it during Rogers 2/$40. It grows on you gradually as you get into the levels.
