Very good game, but very hard, its longevity will probably be short for most people. I guess for 400 pts it doesn't matter much.

I know...I had this game for the gamecube...strategy comes into play and knowing when to change from light to dark.

I played it on my Dreamcast. It's a great shooter but just too hardcore for me, I only played it for an hour or so. It's really old school, getting down to pattern memorization and honing your reflexes.

hard, but rewarding game.
watching ikaruga videos on youtube makes me appreciate this game so much more.

I got my ass kicked on this game when i was playing on my friends 360, which is why i didn't buy it. Good deal for the ones who are interested.

great shmup for 1 player.
ymmv ****** for 2. (especially after stage 3)
way too many stuff happening in 1 screen, not to mention you get pushed by the other player if you are too close.
nevertheless, the price is amazing if you hvnt experience this game before

stage 3 + equivalent to instant diffculty on normal
though its easier than most of cave games.
lots of pattern memorization.
