Depends if you need a laptop like that.
Personally, I'd go with a refurb MBA (if you need/want a thin laptop) with better specs for $1099.
Plus, the Acer brand isn't exactly known for high quality products.

I currently have an HP. Its dying on me. I want to replace it, but I don't really have the money for it. My budget is $1250. I am looking for a thin laptop with a good battery life.
by the way what's MBA?

Macbook Air
It has much better specs and is only slightly more expensive if you buy refurb.

''Intel Pentium SU2700 1.3GHz''
Isn't that worse than netbook speeds? For example the 1000HE

I bought it with the printer for free with it. It comes with vista home premium, but you can get Windows 7 for free with an offer from Acer. Microsoft office 9 come with it as well so you are pretty much getting $200 worth (Windows 7 and office 9) for free in that package. Plus, it used to be $1018 plus tax, but they marked the price down when I bought it to $900 plus tax. Amazing deal.

Hey, I bought that same package, and it hasn't arrived yet. Did yours arrive ? Any impressions on it ?
Still waiting for mine :)

Respectfully disagree on the MBA recommendation, MBP's are the only laptops made by Apple that's even remotely worthy of consideration, MBA's are a waste of money and time.

I agree with Winkle.
The MacBook Air is very low on specs (i mean 80GB hdd is very low), not to speak of memory and everything else. And even refurbished, if you want one of the more "real" (a tad better specs) mac airs, they are way over $1500.
Not to mention that you can't change that battery, and the fact that is constantly attached to the machine, it will degrade incredibly fast, due to the heat emanated by all the other components.
