i installed some products from comodo and now my computer doesnt start i cant even get to safe mode it just goes on and then doesnt do anything and restarts itself. I have vista the only information i can get to is the f2 setup and the f12 menu vista says that it's preventing startup because it could be dangerious<oh have i ever heard that a million times from vista. So how in the world am i going to get into my computer it says something like UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME

If you have the Vista disc use that to do a repair install or use the recovery disc if you made one.I tried using Comodo before and ended up not being able to get on the internet, took me a couple of days to getting it working again. I'm never going to install anything from them again, same goes for Acronis OS.

DO NOT DO A REPAIR INSTALL. Only second last resort before Format/Install. If you do a repair install, it may make it worse and may lead to a format install (worst case scenario).
Just use Vista disc and follow this instruction (http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial148.html). Vista Operating System disc or Vista Recovery Disc.

I believe it should be the reinstall disc. Put this disc inside the DVD/CD drive and boot from it. You should start to see the images in this website (http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial148.html).
Please also post your computer brand and model if it is an OEM machine (Dell, HP, etc). Or the spec of your custom system.

Ok, it is for sure the "Operating System: Already Installed On Your Computer" similar to this
http://www.colindiponio.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/06/sp1_final.jpg
or
http://img4.imageshack.us/i/recovery.jpg
Follow these instructions:
1. Turn off the computer and have the DVD above nearby
2. Turn on the laptop and press F12 when you see the Dell logo. You might have to tap it several times until you see the top left screen phrase change to something like "load boot-menu" etc.
3. Eject the DVD/CD drive and put in the Vista disc and close it
4. Move the UP and DOWN ARROWS key to highlight DVD/CD entry and press ENTER key
5. Press any key on the keyboard.. or ENTER key to boot from Vista DVD
6. Follow this instruction again (http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial148.html).
Keep us update with the status.

+1 for the repair disk.
Otherwise, you may have to just use a live CD/USB to boot into another OS and then back up your data. (try http://pendrivelinux.com) You can then always format if it's a viable option for you.
