i got a used paradigm 5.1 set from a friend, but the receiver he gave doesnt seem to have optical input.

I'm on a tight tight budget, but i really want to get this system up and running since I've already mounted the speakers. Where can I find a dirt cheap receiver? Sound quality isn't important right now because I just want to use the system for now.

Is it possible to find those "dvd/receivers" that you find in htib sold separately ?

If you're on a tight budget... why bother getting a new receiver... analog sound works =P

Dirt cheap? We have 1 or 2 on our clearance table.

btw my subwoofer is passive so i also need an amp.
