I'm actually going for a legit Directv Premier subscription and all the extra HD options.

I wanted to stay with a FTA receiver so that I can still have some HD PPV.

Now I've been going back and forth between wanted a 5 LNB super dish setup and needing 10 wires just for that dish coming in to the house to a powered emp switch (need 2 wires per LNB) and that way I would have 82,91,110,119,129.

I'm thinking this might be overkill, can anyone tell me how the HD PPV compares on Dishnetwork VS Expressvu, are there just as many HD PPV available on Expressvu if so I would just stick with Expressvu and make my whole install a lot easier.

I would stay with expressvu. They may not have as many HD channels but the quality of the picture is better than dishnet.

I find dishnet tries to pack as many channels as they can, they don't really care about PQ.

Well FTA on DN doesn't work anymore...

That's today, who knows for the future. I just wanted opinions from HD viewers on the choice and quality of HD PPV on either provider, I don't want to debate or predict when and if FTA ever works again.
