Hey guys, I was just trying to PM an internal laptop hard drive, and in the end, they tried to tack on $25 for shipping (overnight shipping).

I've never had this issue before, and I explained several times that this wasnt even on the policy listed on the board, but the "sales manager" refused to budge

Is there something new in the PM policies that i'm unaware of ? Or should i go back again and argue some more?

was it because of the store you matched prices with?
was it an online deal?

Yeah, it was an online store. I was trying to match a scorpio 320gb drive, which ended up being $63 plus overnight shipping, etc.

It was very , as i've never had to pay overnight shipping on anything i tried to PM up until today.

If you read their policy (http://www.bestbuy.ca/helpsection/EN/online_policies.asp?onlinepoliciesID=1&logon=&langid=EN), they are completely in their right to charge shipping for next day delivery to your address.

"Advertised prices must be in Canadian dollars, and will be calculated as including all charges applicable for next day delivery to your home address"

Unless I'm mistaken, it's been part of the policy for some time now. Maybe they just weren't enforcing it.
