Just wondering if someone can help...

we have good friends that are married and we would like to use both of them for our 2 references
would this be ok?

have you read the form? should be fine if they hold a passport and meet the other conditions....again, it's spelled out pretty clearly in the application form.

I have read the form but it does not give to many details for the references
it does for the Guarantor requirements and this includes them having a passport
but very vague on the References


That is where i get confused::(

references do not need to hold a passport....from the form....

"References (section 8) Provide TWO (2) references who are not your guarantor or a relative. Friends, co-workers and neighbours may be used as references provided they have known you for at least TWO (2) years."

as i recall, these people confirm what you look like...i used a co-worker....

Well are they:

not your guarantor or a relative. Friends, co-workers and neighbours may be used as references provided they have known you for at least TWO (2) years.

? If yes, then yes, if no then no.

YES,

My wife and I just renewed our passports and we used our friends (married couple with different last names).

Hope this ends your confusion, good luck!
