Hi, we're travelling to London and we have a bunch of Euro's at home. Is it better to exchange it to pound sterling here or do it at LHR at Travelex or some other currency exchange? I know they will take Euros but figure it might be easier just to have the money in pounds.

In my experience you're better changing currency at your destination, rather than your departure point.
In the case of the UK, I would avoid the Exchanges at the airport, they are horrendous. A much better option is to go to Marks & Spencer, a big chain of Department Stores, they have a Bureau de Change and offer better rates and lower commissions.

I've found the airport rates to be excessive. I agree with the other poster, try a non airport location such as M&S for exchange.
